The study of early differentiation or tumor stem cells requires the molecular analysis of single cells, because every cell IS different, and stem cells are extremely rare. FACS is a very efficient way to place stem cell candidates onto AmpliGrid slides for single cell PCR/ RT-PCR or sequencing analysis using a simple single cell workflow. Tumor stem cell candidates from tissue samples can be transferred onto the AmpliGrid via Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM).
